Matt Carmona and his marketing team are currently planning an east coast tour based on his 2010 album release TRYNAFINDME. The tour is not about Matt Carmona but more about the struggles to find yourself in a world where everything is telling you who you are.

The tour is geared towards high school students but there are a few dates that are being designed for college students as well. “People have to learn the real them and my prayer for the tour is that we’re able to bring a reality to the lives of young people. The reality of their own value”, Matt Carmona stated last Saturday during a planning meeting. The tour is hoping to kick off in January of this upcoming year.

Dear Fly Mental Family & Friends:
 
After much negotiation amongst the partners, we have to announce the closing of Fly Mental LLC.  This last year and a half has been filled with many successes, from quality music, to exceptional shows and top knotch videos.  Together we have learned so much about music ministry, developed life-long relationships and left a lasting impression on the Ohio music scene.  This decision to discontinue the label does not come out of strife, but out of a desire to do what is best for each individual artist and our office staff.  We will not continue as a company but all artists involved vow to continue pushing their music and art forward. Fly Boy’s upcoming mixtape “Faith Based” is not a Fly Mental Recordings product. This mixtape is being pursued personally by Herman Noble himself.

Hello Family & Friends!  As we approach mid-year of 2011, and begin our 2nd year as a label we are looking forward to new opportunities, new venues and of course new music!!!   Looking back on the last 12 months we have learned a lot and enter year 2 with more wisdom and a clearer vision for where we’re headed.  There have been several changes as we move ahead one of the major changes is in our staffing.  As of April, 2011 Sam Taylor aka III Samuel, will be continuing his career as an independent artist.  Although no longer under the Fly Mental label, III Samuel will always be a part of our family.  This decision comes not out of strife, but simply out of growth, and moving in obedience to God’s voice.  We look forward to watching him soar, everywhere he goes and in everything he does.  Good luck!

As we close this chapter with a musical bang, and eagerly present our mix-tape “Tattoos, Piercing & Christ” cut up by Dj. Mar-Lay.  In this music you will hear our heartbeat, a heartbeat of acceptance and diversity, of being effective in the world and yet not of it and mostly a desire for more of Christ!  We hope you enjoy songs by Fly Boy, Matt Carmona, Che’Marie & the final Fly Mental appearance III Samuel.  Also Columbus we can’t wait to see you at “Tattoos, Piercings & Christ” Mix-tape Release Concert on May 27th, 2011. The event will be hosted by Dj. Mar-Lay and Steve CarmonaNOW and of course all Fly Mental artists will be performing in addition to Har-Vey and Bink! We are looking forward to a great new year filled with new opportunities, new music and more God given favor.
